Resound is a community choir of about 20 members, first begun by the late Dr. Annika Lamont. Directorship was transferred to Terrah Mello, and then resumed after Covid by Dr. Phil Golson. The purpose of the group is simple--providing quality choral arts to the region and building wonderful personal and musical excellence in its members with fun, passion, and enthusiasm in heaping doses. We routinely feature a wide selection of Classical, Sacred, and Popular programming, singing in English, Afrikaans, Xhosa, Zulu, Latin, Italian, German and Hebrew. Their concerts have been attended by many hundreds of local enthusiasts, and are growing in popularity and demand.
