A small magnet left on an old church organ caught my eye years ago when I was a boy, and the words written on it “What on earth is going on for heaven’s sake” have stayed with me ever since. it was not just a humourous play on words, but also a lingering question that should motivate all of us to expect great things from God, while attempting great things for God.
One of my heroes is Barnabas—an ordinary guy from Cyprus, the Son of Encouragement, as he was called. My desire through this podcast is simply to encourage as many mission workers as I can who are laboring around the world through conversation, and to educate others “at home” who will listen in and learn more about the awesome and varied work going on for eternity. It may be new, entertaining, or even edgy—but it is all for His glory.
